I was given an opportunity to audition for Dozo’s dance program freshmen year. I did not go. Every year I go to support my cousins for dance shows, I get this feeling of regret. I love dancing. I’d do anything to go back to that moment and take the audition. How stupid was I? If I took that opportunity, I could be walking down the hallways of Dozo and perform on their stage along with my cousins. I would actually be having fun and I would have a reason to be in school everyday. But no, my dumb ass just let the chance pass by.
